In line with our commitment to promote local employment ad look after country, NAC has become involved in the Federal Government’s Green Army (GA) Program. The Njanjma Green Army involves seven young people from Gunbalanya and surrounding clan estates aged between 17 and 24, who are employed to undertake projects that look after country.

This employment provides opportunities for GA participants to learn about, develop skills and gain experience undertaking land management tasks. This 22-week program has been successful for providing training and experience young people in Natural Resource Management and Cultural Heritage Management.
