We’ve been monitoring the spread of Mimosa Pigra and other weeds in the Mikkinj Valley and the Greater Red Lily Area. By using on-ground data collection methods such as transect surveying we have produced maps of the current distribution of certain weed infestations so that we can monitor the rate and extent of their spread over time. This gives us an idea of the effectiveness of our past and present weed work and where we need to strategically plan future work
